Default What exhaust are you running on your Mustang?

Curious to see what everybody is running and or is planning to do.

I currently have an 06 GT with Pypes o/r H pipe and a Bassani axelback with Race mufflers. It does trumpet a bit at 1800 to 2100ish RMP's but sooner or later I'll get resonators to fix that. Or Long tube headers. :-)

All in all, it's WICKED loud and mean....

How bout your ride?

I just bought another 95 GT that came with Mac shortys, h-pipe, and is dumped out of high flow cats . Its loud as crap and annoying. But is good for scaring joggers, distracting kids from school, and making every dog in town bark. I ordered a Mac catback system a few weeks ago when i bought the car, but its lost in shipping....

I really like MACs on 5.0 and 4.6 cars. They sound mean and healthy. Im also more fond of bbk longtube headers.

I used to run all dynomax since I could get them cheap/free. Im not big on their sound though.

My 87 gt has a custom h pipe with a set of flow 40s with 3" rolled tips (2.5" pipe) sounds good to me!

Got bbk long tubes, with magnaflow all the way back no cats.

Also on a 1993 full pypes headers back. Deep sound.

Sounds like all above have nice setups!

I know there's more out there with SOMETHING done to the exhaust or at least, have big plans for it! Let's hear it! :-)

I have a '96 GT and I'm running no mufflers, just straight pipe from cats back. I'm planning on getting some headers and o/r midpipe after the wedding. Haven't decided on long tubes or shorties. What's your opinion, and what brands?

hooker longtubes. I am running a custom header for the turbos off road x pipe and borla mufflers.

I installed the Borla Stinger axle-back system on mine last month... I love the sound of these things when I down-shift from third into 2nd!

I just bought some SLP loud mouth axle back today. I am going to try to install them Sunday or Monday. I can't wait to hear what they will sound like.
